Tonight is a full moon total lunar eclipse and is visible throughout the US (and the western hemisphere) overnight.

Astrologically, the chart is relatively simple and features a nearly exact (to the arc-minute) wedge. The third point on the wedge features Uranus in Taurus.
Astrologers refer to Uranus as the higher octave of Mercury, which stations retrograde on the 15th. Uranus is said to rule all of the innovations of the modern world from electricity to the internet. Many of us also believe that Uranus would then also rule zero point technology (aka free energy), once that is revealed to exist.
Uranus is also known for surprises and seeming instantaneous manifestations. Another phenomena associated with Uranus is revolution.
In my opinion, we are in the middle of a global revolution and, like the sign Uranus is transiting, it is moving very slowly and methodically. I have been looking for the fast and unexpected to show up, but perhaps that will not happen until Uranus moves into Gemini, a sign that fully supports speed. Uranus will ingress Gemini in early July.
Two other planets that align with the sun, moon, and lunar nodes are Saturn and Neptune, both in Pisces and both fixin’ to ingress Aries. Saturn will take it’s first (of three) dips across the Aries point in May. Neptune will ingress Aires on the last day of this month.
This means that, by mid-July the four outer planets will all sit within the first degrees of their new temporary homes. That is a LOT of new vibes greasing the wheels of change.
By November, all three planets mentioned above (Saturn, Neptune, & Uranus) will have retrograded back into their old homes until next year.
The summer of 2025 may very well give us a sneak preview of the era we are transitioning into. It might not and probably will not show the stable version of that newness, but instead reveal the strong turbulence created by the clashing and crashing of waves old and new.
If you wake in the middle of the night, press your face against a window and look up to see the red moon.
I woke up on my own so went outside to watch for a bit and took this photo:

I am looking forward to my 6th Lunar Eclipse conjunct my IC. During the Eclipse effect period, in 4 out of the previous 5 conjunctions, I moved residences. With the oddball in 2006, I undertook major household renovations. At my age, I really don’t want to move! I’m happy here – I really do enjoy my Non-GMO, Organic vegetable and flower gardens, yet there is that pull from Saturn opposite Natal Saturn approaching the MC and ruling the 7th. Then there is that “Nebulous Neptune” in Pisces Sextile (aiding and abetting) my Natal Sun cazimi Mars sending me off to “Never, Never Land”. However, a reality check will come into view when Uranus first conjuncts this Natal Sun and Mars in late June 2025. This will not be a dull, dreary year, David!
I love to read A Fool’s Inclination! Happy to have found you.
