Ending Beget Beginnings

Today is the last day of March, 2025, and the first full day (for Austin) with Neptune in Aries. Endings beget beginnings.

I employed Grok to do some grunt work for me. I have been aware, for a while now, that we are within a period of time where all the outer planets are changing signs. I arbitrarily chose the period from November 1st 2024 through November 1st 2025. Here are the outer planet ingresses for this period:

Pluto will not retrograde out of Aquarius. It has completed that dance. Both Neptune and Saturn, as you can see above, will retrograde back into Pisces in Autumn and then, (not shown) will move forward into Aries once again in early 2026 less than three weeks apart from each other.

To give you an idea of how rare all of this is, I asked Grok to calculate it. This is its answer:

“Statistically, the probability is about 0.02% (1 in 5,000 years)…” According to Grok, since the planetary cycles are not regular, it states that “it happens approximately once every 20-50 years…”

I seriously questioned that last calculation. I thus asked it to find the last calendar year when this occurred. This is its response:

So Grok is saying that, in the past 125 years, it could not find a case where all the outer planets changed signs in the same year. That speaks volumes!

The point of the above exercise is to show how rare something like this occurs. Astrologers will tell you, this is a huge amount of energetic change flowing into our shared reality in a short period of time.

I did a Tarot reading for a new client over the weekend and found myself also discussing some of the Astrology above. The visual analogy I found myself seeing was this:

We have been blanketed by a dense fog for some time now. In this fog, it has been very difficult to see the truth. Some are confused. Some are blinded. Others, who are tuned into their intuition, know that something is off. Many, who are awake and aware, still can’t see what is true, despite knowing that much of what we see is illusion.

The sunrise, however, is imminent. Not too long after the sun rises, the bright light and warmth will burn off the fog. After that, we’ll see clearly what has actually been happening.

Many of us have retreated into reclusivity because it felt safer than wandering around in the fog. Once it lifts, some of us will be invited back out into the world. Others of us will be pushed out into it.

Although I decided to exclude it from the data above, Mars is also about to change signs. On April 18, Mars will move forward into Leo after an extended time in Cancer (due to its biannual retrograde). Mars is weakest in Cancer. It will be much happier in Leo. Mars is the most fiery planet. In the natal chart, it describes the ways we tend to express our energy.

Cancer is, in my mind, best symbolized by the hermit crab, who retreats into its shell for protection. Leo completely flips reclusivity. It is when, ready or not, we walk out onto the stage for all to see.

This summer will be dominated by outer planets in fire and air signs, which, to me, looks like an outpouring of information and awareness. However it manifests, it will be strikingly contrasting to the past.

Are you up for it?
