Many of my school peers have Saturn in Aries and some will also have the North Node in Aries.
Since Saturn is now in Aries and for the next 2-3 years, we’ll be reminded why we chose to be born under this arrangement.
Saturn describes the way we prefer to work and our inner father…not just how we tend to parent others, but also ourselves.
Through self observation, I have noticed many things about myself, which I would associate with Saturn in Aries.
I rely heavily on myself. I often go it alone. I work well by myself, and I am self motivated.
The down side is I’m hesitant to ask for help.
Aries is fiery, impetuous, and hyper. I’m not like that in other areas of life, but definitely like that at work.
I respond to stress by pushing through discomfort, which I admit is not ideal, though I get away with this quite a bit. As soon as I overcome resistance, I want to do it right here and right now, fearing that I’ll fall back into doubt if I hesitate. Slowing myself down is not easy, though easier now than ever.
I tend to expend energy by burning all of my fuel without taking a break. Once I’m exhausted, it’s easier to actually relax.
I love being independent. When something feels overwhelming, I remind myself of the long list of experiences where I accomplished more than I thought I could.
Saturn is exalted in Libra and thus fall in Aries. This is because, generally speaking, more can be accomplished through harmony, cooperation, and teamwork—all of which are common with Libra and lacking in Aries.
For those of us with North Node in Aries, however, this addition helps us significantly. North Node in Aries means that we are here specifically to develop our Aries traits. We are here to step away from the herd (in some context). We are encouraged to set better boundaries, be bolder in our expression, and do more on our own. The more we do accomplish by ourselves, the confidence we’ll create for ourselves.
Keep in mind that if the North Node was in Aries when we were born, the South Node was in Libra. We came in with Libra traits already honed and developed in past lives. We know how to work and harmonize with others. We can lean on that as needed, but don’t let that stop you from developing your Aries traits. You are here to shine and express boldly.
Saturn transiting Aries will potentially push all of us to be bolder and to fight for what we believe in. We with Natal Saturn in Aries may be called to step into a leadership role at this time. We have it in us, many of us are here to hone and own this, and now is the time.
