July is Going to be HOT

Happy July. Happy July 4th. And Happy 250th Birthday to the USA. Let the firework commence.

Last night, Jupiter slid into Leo which marks the last outer planet sign transition I have been talking about for years. All of the outer planets are now in their new homes and are only weeks away from a major alignment (excluding Saturn). But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

First up, which occurs today, is Jupiter square Chiron. This is what that chart looks like:

The moon is a timing element and an activator. Notice how it is part of the Minor Grand Trine (the blue rectangle). I think the moon brings “home” these larger configurations. In other words, it gets us “feeling” the alignments in a personal way. Jupiter is not quite fully aligned with that yet; it has some healing work to do first.

I am not one to make predictions with Astrology, unless my intuition brings something through so we’ll just have to wait and see what comes up today that matches what we see here. It could be a wounding or a healing. Since Mercury is retrograde, and still conjunct Jupiter (though out-of-sign), I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a release of information about something that already happened in the past (recent or distant). That news will affect people today as if the event happened today, and would be either hurtful, cathartic, validating, or bringing relief. Will be interesting to see if I’m picking up on something about to precipitate.

I recently wrote about the chart when Jupiter exactly opposes Pluto. Well another astrologer brought my attention to a chart just shy of that one. This chart is for July 19th, and is when the moon aligns with all the others:

What a beautiful configuration this is! We have a Grand Trine in air. We have that same Minor Grand Trine from the earlier chart, which will last all month long and beyond. And we have a Mystical Rectangle. All of these are drawn in blue lines indicating harmonious aspects and a flow of energy without much resistance.

Mystical Rectangles always include two oppositions, shown in red, which are the grains of sand in the oyster. In this regard, the Mystical Rectangle is quite similar to the Kite, but with tension in two different axes rather than just one.

There is plenty of tension, but the overwhelming theme is flow toward solution. As I’ve mentioned before, the destructive aspects of Pluto, multiplied by its opposition to Jupiter, could have us seeing what appears to be strong negative manifestations, but one which will have even larger positive outcomes eventually.

The month then will end with possibly the most intense chart yet:

This chart is for the moment of the full moon in Aquarius, which precisely aligns with the Jupiter-Pluto opposition that will have peaked 10 days earlier. Again, the moon is serving as a timing element and activator. If we don’t see something major occurring on the 19th or 20th, perhaps something will pop on the 29th.

Sometimes charts speak to me visually more than in the details. Notice how we have two different configurations. We have the Minor Kite in red as the first, and the overlapping configurations in blue (a Minor Grand Trine, and a Wedge) as the other.

The months starts off with Mars applying toward a conjunction with Uranus in Gemini. By month end, the two are significantly separated, each participating in one of the above. Notice that Mars is precisely square to Venus (the age old battle of the sexes and before we once again learn to harmonize opposing drives).

I wrote earlier how, to me, this Uranus in Gemini energy is showing as strongly contrasting very positive and very negative news flying at us simultaneously. This chart, in my opinion, does not just show information coming at us, but seems to indicate actual happenings. I would guess that the two sets of events (positive and negative) would be completely unrelated, just happening in the same time period. However, since both configuration meet at the moon, they could be related or could affect the same people.

The Minor Trine seen all month is among the three outer-most planets, and is therefore a longer lasting configuration, lingering on throughout the summer (but to a lesser degree).

The Wedge consists of Chiron harmoniously aspecting both Lunar Nodes and represents an opportune time to work on the healing of wounds from the distant past, including ancestral or past lives. This too will last through the summer: peaking on August 2nd and then releasing.

While specific, intense, and strongly negative or even destructive events may occur this month, the Astrology is bolstering and inspiring healing and growth, evolution and revolution. One has to acknowledge, accept as real, and stop abuse before s/he can begin the healing of it. One has to accept and overcome self-destructive behavior in order to convalesce. ‘Parasites’ (those feeding off of the system – aka corruption) must be addressed and dealt with in order to restore the proper functioning of the system.
