We are, at this time (July 20th), inside the peak of Barbault’s Basket. These alignments making up the shaded area in the chart below and are what I was previously referring to as half of a Grand Sextile. An individual part of this can be examined individually for increased understanding.
Today, I am going to focus on Uranus in Gemini Trine Pluto in Aquarius. Both planets are in air signs and are circled in fuchsia.
When a person says, “I’ve made up my mind,” they have created something very powerful or very dangerous. The word I really want to use is formidable.
Google defines Formidable like so:
Formidable is an adjective used to describe something or someone that inspires fear, respect, or awe because of their impressive size, strength, power, or capability. It often refers to a task, obstacle, or opponent that is highly difficult to overcome, manage, or defeat.
Making up one’s mind is quintessentially Aquarian. Aquarius is fixed air and a fixed mindset matches that precisely.
So many people have made up their mind about Donald Trump…one way or the other. Their own fixity has created a belief that is nearly impossible to dissuade. The problem is, we are in a time ripe for breaking the seemingly unbreakable.
If Aquarius represents the made up mind, then Pluto moving through Aquarius is tasked with transforming it. Pluto always breaks down limiting structures so that new more expanded and more evolved ones can replace them.
Now add in Uranus in Gemini. The antithesis of Fixed is Mutable and thus the antithesis of Aquarius is Gemini. Gemini is constantly seeking new ideas even if only motivated by boredom or the pursuit of freedom. Uranus in Gemini has opened the door for revolutionary and inventive ideas to pop up and flourish.
Furthermore, since Uranus rules Aquarius, Uranus gets to direct Pluto (and Mercury, which rules Gemini, gets to influence Uranus).
Earlier this morning, I watched a video of Trump presenting the FIFA World Cup championship trophy to Spain. One post spun it stating that Trump egoistically insisted on staying up on stage for the raising of the trophy, which came next. A second post said that the Spanish players insisted that he stay for it.
We, as observers, cannot definitively state which of those perspectives is factual. Those who have decided that Trump is as the media claims will see it their way.
The same goes for the information that Trump recently declassified regarding Election interference and fraud. Those who have already made up their minds are, practically speaking, incapable of accepting any evidence that goes against it.
But Pluto is a powerful influencer. He has the patience of the rain eroding down a mountain. The mountain presents as one of the most stable structures on earth (a microcosm of earth itself) and yet, given enough time, the seasonal rains will erode an entire mountain down stream and deposit it into the ocean, perhaps creating a new mountain down there.
Uranus is not patient. Uranus prefers to take down the mountain akin to Mount St. Helens. It is much faster to just blow it to smithereens from within. Uranus need only stimulate what is already inside of the mountain to destroy it…in whole or in part.
The person who is rigidly infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome did that to themselves. They chose to trust the news over all else. They chose to not question any of it. They continue to ignore all evidence that goes against what they decided and have made rather harsh judgements against anyone who doesn’t think as they do.
And in this time with Pluto moving through Aquarius and Uranus moving through Gemini, they are up against some very powerful energies. At 120o separation, they are working toward the same ends.
But this is not to say that Pluto and Uranus are choosing indiscriminately. They are not here to destroy any and all structures (concepts) that exist. Each individual person has his or her own purpose and karma. Though Pluto and Uranus are named after gods; they are not gods. They are not here to exert their will. This realm doesn’t work that way. ‘God’ is not a player here. ‘He’ does not take sides. That whole way of thinking was planted deliberately, and is false.
For many years, I moved my thinking away from the word (and concept) of God to the word and concept of Universe. Yet Universe is just as false. And so is the word and concept of All-That-Is. That is simply because all of these words are inside of this realm. Even if you include the “non-physical entities and energies” that surround this realm, you are still only looking at manifested reality and the pieces and parts of it. The absolute (the closest word I can think of) is beyond all of that.
I want to keep this short, so I’ll conclude by leaving you with an analogy. Ideas are like water. When one makes up his or her mind, s/he freezes the water into, let’s say, an ice sickle or ice cube. Depending on the shape and size and temperature, that frozen water can be quite solid. Regardless, a force sufficiently strong can break anything apart. The combination of Pluto and Uranus can be that force…and when ice is broken, it snaps or shatters.
If you keep your water warm and flowing, it too is powerful, but in a different way than ice. It can move you down and around obstacles…or carry you from one land to another. It can also erode down obstacles. It is flexible and is thus easily guided.
We all make up our minds and thus we are all filled with ice cubes and ice sickles. So what do we do now? Well, add warmth and sunlight and let the outer layers melt and flow away. Some pieces might fall off in chunks, but generally speaking, the experience will be more pleasant than a snapping or shattering of the mind.
Beliefs are old and cold. You had the thought long ago, and you keep thinking it. Ignorance, choosing to ignore new data, further freezes the thoughts you have decided on. If you’re happy with your thoughts, by all means, keep them solid. There are plenty of positive thoughts worth maintaining. But if those thoughts are causing you pain, struggle, or discomfort, maybe it’s time to warm them up and let in the light of day before Pluto or Uranus pushes against them.
