The god of action is finally moving forward once again. In actuality, he’s inching. His progress is slower than the sun. It’ll take Mars about a week to cover the amount of movement the sun covers in a day. But next month, he’ll be twice as fast, then three times, then four.
So Mars is moving forward but will not be up to speed for a while. For those of you that have been waiting for him, maybe that’s why it doesn’t feel all that energized just yet.
Another part of it is where Mars is located in your chart. For me, Mars backed all the way into my first house. So any action that ought to be taken right now should be about me. And for the moment, the best thing I can do for myself is not do much at all.
But for the rest of you, there are 12 general possibilities. There are 12 houses, so to really understand what action is best, one needs to look at their whole chart. They want to see what house Mars is in, and what it is aspecting if anything.
And that brings me to an announcement. I have decided to start up a new class. [It’s been a little while.] This class is going to be called Getting to Know ME. And, no, it’s not about you getting to know me, but you getting to know you.
The Journey of the Fool is from where you are to where you want to be. But knowing who you are is just as important as knowing where you are. So this class is about getting to know you – and via Astrology (primarily).
Yes, you will learn about Astrology, but you will do this by studying your own chart. Each week, we’ll focus on some specific aspect(s). We’ll look at our own charts and be guided along deeper self-understanding. Sometimes we’ll look solely at the natal chart, other times we’ll look at current, recent, or up coming transits.
All the while, you’ll hopefully be increasing awareness of your own intuition. No textbook or reader can replace your own guidance system for you.
Class will be Tuesday nights (7:30-9:30) out of my house. RSVPing is required, at least the first time you attend, because you’ll need a birth chart. Those who have laptops, tablets, or smart phones even better – bring them. And you’ll likely want to take notes…
We’re going to take it one week at a time and see how it goes. The cost is $20.
